Day 1 – Arrive in Springfield, MO, Breaking Up is Hard to Do
Our holiday begins at our nearest “gateway” airport where we’ll board our flight to Springfield/Branson Regional Airport. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Radisson hotel will we will have time to freshen up before we depart for a great dinner at Tony Z’s. This evening, our show will be Breaking Up is Hard to Do, a musical featuring the songs of Neil Sedaka. Breaking Up is Hard to Do is the sweetly comic story of Lois and Marge, two friends from Brooklyn in search of fun times and romance over one wonderful Labor Day weekend. Radisson Hotel (D)
Day 2 – City Tour, Mt. Pleasant Winery, The Rankin Brothers, SIX
This morning, our breakfast will be in the Wildwood Bistro located in the hotel. After breakfast, we will enjoy a great city tour of Branson, the College of the Ozarks and Mt. Pleasant Winery for a little wine tasting. This afternoon, we will enjoy one of the newest acts in Branson, The Rankin Brothers. We will enjoy musical number from the 50’s to the 90’s. Time will stand still as The Rankin’s take us on a memorable journey with hits from Neil Diamond, The righteous Brothers, Elvis and many more. Tonight we will have dinner at the Uptown Café. After a great dinner we will enjoy one of Branson’s hottest new shows SIX. You won’t believe what comes out of their mouths; percussion, instruments, harmonies…and that’s in the first 30 seconds. Six uses only their voices to produce all the instrumentation, rhythms, and harmonics of band and vocals. The resulting sound is exhilarating and hip and compares to the likes of “Take Six” or the “Nylons.” Six is made up of six real brothers and have won numerous awards for their recordings and vocal arrangements. Day 3 – Brett Family, Pierce Arrow, Sight & Sound Theater
Breakfast will be at the Wildwood Bistro located in the hotel. After breakfast, we will enjoy the very talented Brett Family. This fast-paced variety show is jam-packed with feel-good music and dance showcasing classic favorites from the 30’s to the present, country, gospel and patriotic. All of the Brett’s have dynamic solo voices that when combined create breath-taking world-class harmony. We will now go back to the hotel to freshen up before we make our way to our matinee show Pierce Arrow. This show features a cast who brings the audience along with them to enjoy the time of their lives. With Pierce Arrow, talent over flows from the World’s lowest bass singers according to the Guinness Book of world records, to masterful harmonies and expert entertainers, these gentlemen truly love what they do and it shows. This evening dinner will be at The Gardens Restaurant located in Branson Meadows. After another great meal, we will make our way to the Sight & Sound Theatre. Story song and spectacular staging bring each of Sight & Sound Theatre’s epic shows to life. Dozens of professional actors attired in elaborate costumes, meticulously detailed sets towering up to 40 feet high, trained animals, unmatched special effects, and beautifully memorable music inspire many guests every year. Day 4 – Home
Breakfast will be at the Wildwood Bistro located in the hotel. After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the Ozarks and travel back to the Springfield/Branson Regional Airport to connect with our homeward-bound flight. (B)
