Tour Description/Daily Itinerary:

Oktoberfest comes to this Bavarian style community every year. German food and German music - come join the fun. Plus enjoy the many shoppes in this small mountain town.

DAY 1 - Wedneday
Helen is a small village in the Northeast mountains of GA with a Alpine German “flavor” It is only about 5 blocks long and 1 blocks wide. You will first enjoy the Alpine Auto & Buggy Museum, taking a visit back into the past in this unique place. After checking into hotel it is off to dinner at one of the “German” style restaurants. (D)

DAY 2 - Thursday 
This morning you will be met by your step-on guide for a narrated tour of the area surrounding Helen. Afterward your afternoon is free to enjoy exploring all the little shops in downtown Helen. Some of the most interesting shops are tucked back in little “alleyways” between other buildings. This evening you will have admission to Oktoberfest – German style food and music. (B, D)

DAY 3 – Friday 
After checking out of the hotel and departing Helen, you might like to stop in the nearby town of Cleveland where the “Cabbage Patch General Hospital” is located. Adopting a “newborn” is ever so easy. (B)
