Day 1:
Arrive at Lexington area hotel and check-in while your luggage is taken to your rooms. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the hotel this evening – relax after long day of travel. (D)
Day 2:
Enjoy a hearty full breakfast in hotel before departing for Berea to pick up your local step-on guide at Berea Visitor’s Center for a 2-hour driving tour through Historic Berea and Berea College Campus making a stop at the Log House Craft Gallery, a tour of Church Weavers (watch the weavers at work on the 100 looms) and a stop at Old Town Delicious served lunch for some fine dining at the Historic Boone Tavern with the servers dressed in “tucks” and tables with fine linen. After lunch, depart for Lexington for a City Tour of Lexington with you local step-on guide viewing its beautiful architecture while learning of its famous thoroughbreds, citizens & history making a stop at a local farm. Depart for the hotel to freshen up before evening activities. Depart for Kentucky Horse Park for “Old Kentucky Night”, after arriving at the park, enjoy your guided tour followed by a fun old-fashion hayride, get ready for a delicious cookout (indoors) for dinner with great entertainment (includes cloggers or square dancers with everyone having the opportunity to participate in the fun! Day 3:
Great breakfast in hotel before boarding the motorcoach and departing for Harrodsburg and Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill Upon arrival at Shaker Village, you will enjoy a guided tour of the village Spending the night at Historic Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is truly a restful experience. Shaker Village is one of only three properties in Kentucky listed in the current Zagat Survey of the Top U.S. Hotels, Resorts & Spas. A great hearty dinner will be in Shaker Village Trustee’s Office. Free evening on own to stroll through the village. (B, D)
Day 4:
Enjoy your full Breakfast in the Trustee’s Office before checking out and meeting your guide for a Tour of Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill. The Shakers, so named because of the vigorous trembling they experienced in their devotional dancing, believed in simplicity, pacifism, celibacy and separation from the world. Almost 500 people lived her during their peak in the 1830’s. There are 30 original buildings still standing today. The entertainment by the “Shakers” @11am will be held in the Meeting House followed by your hearty lunch at the Trustee’s Office in the village and next door to the Meeting House. Enjoy some free time to browse & shop in the village. Depart for Lexington for shopping & dinner on own (in downtown area). (B, L)

After your full breakfast in hotel / check-out / depart for home. (B)
