Tour Description/Daily Itinerary:

Enjoy a new take on an old tradition by visiting America’s largest Quilt Museum plus learning about Paducah’s river heritage with this jam-packed tour.

Day 1:
Arrive at hotel and check in while your luggage is taken to your rooms. Enjoy a delicious served dinner in the famous C.C. Cohen’s. The employees talk about Stella, they say she is a ghost who lives upstairs and wanders the restaurant at odd hours. The story is that Stella lived upstairs after her husband’s death. The story is told that he was killed in an alley nearby. (You may have seen C.C.Cohen on the Discovery channel or Travel Channel). Enjoy admissions to the Market House Theatre for an evening performance (if available). (D)

Day 2:
Enjoy the hotel’s deluxe continental breakfast Admission to the River Heritage Museum located in Paducah’s oldest surviving antebellum Building in Paducah’s historic downtown, this museum features a model steamboat display and an oil painting exhibit. View the Flood Wall Mural-Paducah Wall to Wall paintings of the Paducah’s past Lunch at Whaler’s Catch with a view of the Ohio River and the murals. Whaler’s is housed in a restored three-story turn-of-the-century building with a casual New Orleans ambiance. Be sure to check out the 24-ft. mahogany bar, brought up the Mississippi River on a barge to Cario, IL, where General Grant once bellied up with his troops famous politicians & back to medieval times. Enjoy some free time to browse through the many antique and specialty shops in downtown and around Market House Square including the Ice Cream Shoppe, Chocolate Factory and Kirchhoff’s, a 5th generation baker. Enjoy admissions to the Paducah’s famous National Quilt Museum. Dinner this evening at Patti’s 1880’s Settlement in Grand Rivers, near the northern entrance to Land Between the Lakes with unique shops, beautiful gardens and menagerie of Animals Entertainment this evening will be at the Badgett Playhouse (Branson-style family entertainment). Day 3:
Enjoy the deluxe continental breakfast; check-out and depart for home taking great memories of your visit to Paducah! (B)
