Cooking with Bourbon in Louisville
Tour Description/Daily Itinerary:

Enjoy a visit to partake of Kentucky’s favorite culinary delight – bourbon: a symbol of the state’s international drink & how to cook with it. This fun visit explores your senses while visiting some of the local attractions.

Day 1:
Arrive at Louisville hotel and check in while your luggage is taken to your rooms. Enjoy some free time to freshen up before evening event. Board your motorcoach and depart for Derby Dinner Playhouse Enjoy your delicious playhouse. Buffet Dinner and their special musical tribute “Footnote” pre-Show followed by a Broadway Production. (D)
Day 2:
Enjoy a hot breakfast in hotel Sullivan Culinary Kitchen. Start today with the Tour A New Orleans favorite meets a Kentucky favorite. Bourbon is a symbol of Kentucky. Under the culinary expertise of Executive Chef Dave Moeller, students will prepare a four-course luncheon featuring Cram of Roasted Wild Mushroom soup, Mixed Baby Greens with Warm Chevre and Orange Vinaigrette salad, Veal Tenderloin “Wellington” with Sauleed Vegetables and Bourbon Gastrique for the main course and dessert will be the Bourbon bananas. Next take a Tour of Louisville with informative step-on guide learning the history of the area and viewing Downtown area. Tour the Historic Locust Grove, committed to preserving the suburban and park elements that now characterize the 692-acres once known as William Croghan’s Locust Grove farm. Enjoy a catered dinner this evening at Locust Grove. (B, L, D)

Day 3:
Enjoy a hot breakfast in hotel before check out and departing for home. (B)
