Find out why George Vanderbilt wanted to settle in Asheville nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on this fun & different kind of visit to western North Carolina.

Day 1:
Arrive at one of the Hampton Inns in Asheville, North Carolina with round-trip luggage handling. Enjoy dinner this evening at a local Asheville area restaurant. (D)

Day 2:
Enjoy admission to the Biltmore Estate for an audio self-guided tour of George Vanderbilt’s 1895, 250-room French chateau home viewing the grounds, shopping in the Stables area & the award-winning Biltmore Winery, if time allows.
