DAY 1
Arrive in Manteo, NC early afternoon and enjoy Roanoke Festival Park and view The Elizabeth II, learn about the one of the first English colonies in the new world. Check into hotel, and have dinner before enjoying the outdoor drama “The Lost Colony” and wonder at the fate of the colonist. (D)

DAY 2
After breakfast, board the bus for a unique view as you drive south to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
From the elevated heights of your bus seats, it is easy to see both sides of the islands that make up the Outer Banks. Hope you brought your camera to take a picture of one of the most famous lighthouses in the world. Enjoy a box lunch on the way back up to visit The Wright Brothers Memorial National Park. You must attend the ranger’s talk and learn all about the brothers’ first flight, see the “landing strip” from there to the moon in the same century, Wow! Dinner tonight at a local restaurant, before returning to your hotel and enjoying the ocean view and maybe a stroll along the beach, pick up a couple shells and get some sand between your toes. DAY 3
Breakfast before packing up and leaving, but before you go stop at Jockey’s Ridge to hear the talk and see some kites fly. (B)
