Day 1
Arrive early afternoon in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Enjoy a professionally guided tour of Mount Airy, North Carolina to include a visit to the Rock Quarry and a visit to “Mayberry”….both give a true meaning to “made in North Carolina”. Check into local area hotel. Enjoy dinner with entertainment in Mount Airy, NC this evening. (D)
Day 2
Enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast this morning in the hotel before departing for today’s activities. Today experience the Ashe County Cheese Factory, the only cheese factory in North Carolina. Enjoy some free time for browsing quaint West Jefferson, North Carolina enjoying lunch on own. Also visit St. Mary and Holy Trinity Episcopal Churches to see the famous Ben Long Fresco Paintings and learn how these North Carolina churches became the “first”. Enjoy dinner as Shatley Springs for bountiful family style mountain meal before returning to hotel. (B, D)
Day 3
Enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast this morning in the hotel before checking out of the hotel and departing for today’s activities. The first visit today will be the Shallowford Popcorn Farm, Inc and then onto Bob Timerlake Gallery, one of America’s most renown artists’ home is in Lexington, North Carolina where you will visit his original gallery to see his art, textiles, furniture, crafts. Enjoy lunch on own today at the Lexington Barbeque…you know North Carolina barbeque is the “best”. Then it’s onto visit Richard Childress Racing Shop, one of the most successful NASCAR racing teams, both in Nextel Cup and Busch. Visit Childress Winery for touring and tasting. Hotel Check-in in the Greater Greensboro area before dinner and show at the Greensboro’s Barn Dinner Theater. (B, D)

Enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast this morning in the hotel before checking out of the hotel and departing for today’s activities. CHOICE: Charlotte Motor Speedway visit and tour OR High Point Furniture Museum. Depart for travel homeward. (B)
